Okay. Okay. I know that this is LONG OVERDUE! (I admit that) But let me start by making some excuses!
While Lestat was running, I was expending so much physical and emotional energy to keep the show running,
that I had difficulty finding time to post an inaugural message here. Then...after it closed...well, either
I was looking for work, changing diapers, or too depressed to do anything but look for work and change diapers,
that I still didn't find the time.
Now, however, enough time has passed that I have finally adjusted (moderately anyway) to having 3 children.
So I have a little extra time. The Olive Garden commercial that I was fortunate enough to shoot (Last Year!),
is finally showing! So I am able to feed my kids this month and that makes me a little more relaxed. And as of
this morning, I think I may be in a show very soon! (I will let you know when I dot the i's and cross the t's)
So I might be able to feed my family for several months! Therefore, I think I may be coming out of my post show,
what am I gonna do now, how am I going to support my family, what day is it anyhow, funk.
That being the case, I want to FINALLY take a moment to say THANK YOU!
While in Lestat, and Slut prior to that, I experienced a level of support that I had never experienced before!!!
The feedback that I got from audience members, the concern and care for the fate of both shows and my career, the
good thoughts I received while my wife Beth and I were approaching the birth of our third child, and just the
overall...well, I can't think of a better word right now than support.
It was all truly ASTOUNDING and HUMBLING.
I am DEEPLY GRATEFUL to every single person who reached out to me either in person, on the phone, or on
this or my other fansite. The time that you took to give me encouragement was NOT TAKEN LIGHTLY. Also, my whole
family was BLOWN AWAY by the outpouring of gifts and well wishes that were bestowed upon us during the runs of
both shows and the birth of Dillon. It was such a blessing to have such displays of affection.
So, here is a much belated THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
I would never be organized enough to do this person by person so please except this general but heartfelt appreciation:
If you gave me and/or my family a toy, flower, baby blanket, coloring book, light saber, Yoda, Wookie, cupcake, piece of
candy, gift certificate, card, pat on the back, kind word, handshake, wave, cheer, WHATEVER!!!...
I/we am/are grateful to the furthest extent possible.
I will do my best in the future to share my thoughts sooner, correspond better on the website, answer questions,
keep you updated, etc. You have all earned that. AT LEAST! Just please bear in mind that (as my wife often tells me)
"Life overwhelms you, Jim. It's that simple!"
I'm not sure if it's adult ADD, or just plain laziness, but I can get over-consumed very easily. BUT, I will do my
best to combat that. Even if I do badly in my fantasy football league because of it!
Time will tell if I can remain true to my word...but till then, please know that I appreciate you all.
