JANUARY 8TH
The webmistress would like to congratulate Jim on a wonderful
run in Jacques Brel...!

In the meantime, Jim began rehearsals this morning for
Carnival! and should be heading to Washington, D.C.
in late January/early February.

JANUARY 13TH
After months of searching, I finally got my hand on all thirteen
episodes of "Misguiding Light"! I've formatted them so they could
be streamed (thanks to MySpace) and have put them up on JSO! This
is the only site you'll find the entire series!

Finally, as many already know, Jim was not able to perform the first
preview weekend of Carnival! due to severe illness. As Jim
has stated, he wishes that he could have bern there but he wants to
give every performance 100% and would have given a disservice to the
show if he had performed. He's hoping to be back to work this week,
possibly before the official opening night. For those that haven't
seen the show yet, you will be in for quite a wonderful experience
and JSO will be anxious to recieve any reviews of Jim's performance,
so feel free to send them in!

you'll miss it appearance on "Law & Order" from all the way back in 1998!

APRIL 4TH
Wonderful news! According to an official statement on
Playbill.com, Jim will be returning to
the stage, Off-Broadway, in the long-running musical I Love You, You're
Perfect, Now Change! He will be performing in a limited engagement of
two weeks, April 9th - April 22nd, so
be sure to catch him while you can!
APRIL 10TH
Great news for those out of town fans! Jim's run in I Love You, You're
Perfect, Now Change has been extended by one week!! Instead of the
previously announced April 22nd date, Jim's final
performance will be on April 29th! So hopefully this will give
more of you an opportunity to catch him in the show!
APRIL 14TH

The staff of JSO would like to send out their condolences to the family
and friends of students and faculty members who were lost and the campus
community as a whole who has been affected by the tragedy at Virgina Tech.
You are all in our prayers.
APRIL 20TH
One year ago today, Jim Stanek Online opened its
doors! Now one re-design, three shows and over 7000 visitors later; JSO
celebrates its first year on the web! A big thank you to all of our
visitors throughout the year especially those who have donated information,
pictures and reviews! Another big thank you goes out to Jim and his amazing
support, kindness and friendship over the past year.
Here's to hoping that Jim Stanek Online continues to be an informative,
fun and reliable resource for all the Jim Stanek fans across the globe for
many more years to come! Thank You!!
APRIL 22ND
First off, the out of state fans have now got their wish!! Jim will continue
his run in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change until
May 20th! After that date, he will be
an on call understudy for "Man #2" for an, as of now, unspecified amount
of time. As always, JSO will keep you updated on the news as it becomes
avaliable.
A new piece of fan art, done by yours truly, has been added to the

of a conversation with Jim about his Louis wig.

The one night only concert will be held at New World Stages (340 West

MAY 24TH
Jim will now be starring full-time as Man #2 in Off-Broadway's
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change! So all of you out
of towners have a lot of time to see him perform! Be sure to check

Jim also has some more readings scheduled that he may (or may not) do.
He doesn't know if they'll be open to the public, but as soon as JSO
gets confirmation we'll be sure to post the news ASAP.

JUNE 7TH
Jim will be participating in a reading being directed by his former
Jacques Brel... castmate Kevin Del Aguila. Due to his rehearsals
for this reading, Jim will be missing the following performances of
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change:
June 10th 2007 - 3:00pm
June 13th 2007 - 2:30pm
June 20th 2007 - 2:30pm
Also there have been some questions about how long Jim will stay
with I Love You, You're Perfect.... As of now, Jim's run is open-ended,
so he will be with the show until another job comes along or "they stop paying him".
So no fear, you guys have a lot of time to catch him in the role!
JUNE 9TH
This summer, fans may get to see Jim on the big screen! A small, independent
film, Bella, that he filmed a few years
ago might soon be coming to select theaters around the country. The project
has been generating a lot of buzz in the industry, however financial issues
have been keeping it from having any type of wide or even limited release.
Private screenings have been going on around the country for over a year now,
however a tentative date of August 15th 2007 has been mentioned as a possible
date of theatrical release. Jim plays the role of "Henri" in the film,
however it is unknown how large or small his part is. JSO will of course keep
you posted on any new developments with this project!
Jim will be missing the following performances of I Love You, You're Perfect,
Now Change:
June 10th 2007 - 3:00pm
June 13th 2007 - 2:30pm
June 20th 2007 - 2:30pm
JUNE 17TH
Jim will be taking a "much needed" two week vacation over the summer from
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. His dates of absence will be
from July 30th 2007 to August 13th 2007.
As we reported previously, Jim is (at the moment) staying with the show for an
indefinite amount of time. So he will be returning to the show, full time, after
this vacation!
Another reminder that Jim will be missing this Wednesday's (
June 20th) matinee performance of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change
due to a rehearsal commitment.

Big news is on the horizon for all of you Stannie Fannies out there! Jim will soon
be breathing life into a brand new role! Ink hasn't been put on the contract just
yet but as soon as JSO gets the okay (or a press statement is released, whichever
comes first) the infomation will be announced here! JSO would just like to
congratulate Jim on this exciting new project!

As we hinted at yesterday, Jim is going to be a part of the new Off-Broadway musical,
Frankenstein. He will be playing the role of Henry, Victor Frankenstein's
school friend. Previews being on October 10th with an opening night set for

OCTOBER 5TH
I've been made aware of some rumors that have started that since Jim is originating
the role of Henry in the Off-Broadway production of Frankenstein then that
means that he is touring with the show in mid-2008. These
rumors, as of now, are false. Jim has NO plans to tour and has not
made a commitment that he will stay with the show past its initial Off-Broadway run
and into its tour. If this changes then the news will be posted here as soon as it
is confirmed. Once again this rumor is NOT true.

Great news everyone! Jim's long awaited film, "Bella" is finally going to be released
in theaters next week! On Friday, October 26th "Bella" will be opening in a nationwide
limited release to major cities across the country with more cities being added the
following week. Please keep in mind that it's still unknown how large or small a role
Jim has in the film.

Frankenstein fans unite!
The people behind the show are now starting a campaign to gauge audience interest
and to get some positive feedback so more people will be inclined to see it.
So please go see the show if you can tomorrow. They have a video booth set up where
you can tell what you think of the show. On the Frankenstein
Official Website they're also accepting emails from audience members and
will be posting them on the website. So if you love the show please go see it and show
your support and let your voice be heard! Lets have the audience reviews ring louder
than the critics!
Also if the fans have any suggestions to bring in more people to,
email us and we'll send the ideas over to the
production.
NOVEMBER 9TH
The stagehand strike that has been threatening to happen has finally begun today.
Nearly all Broadway shows will be dark until the situation is settled. However:
Frankenstein is unaffected by this strike and will remain open
operating on it's normal schedule!
Tickets can be purchased through TDF and/or TKTS for a discount price. Tickets can also

Two new Frankenstein videos have been added! A new episode of Broadway
Beat from the show's opening night and the flash opening that was up on the

Finally, after over a year of waiting, Jim's episode of Seth's Broadway
Chatterbox has finally been released on DVD! The cost is $20 and all proceeds

DECEMBER 3RD
Urgent Update: At tonight's show - Monday, December 3rd 2007, Jim will unfortunately
not be able to perform. Nick Cartell will be going on in the role of Henry in his
place.
Unfortunately Frankenstein will be playing its final performance at 37 Arts on
December 9th 2007. As of this posting, the cast recording will still be happening,
however that could change. The administration of JSO would like to send out their
gratitude to the cast and crew for mounting a wonderful show! More information will

Finally, as many already know, Frankenstein played it's final performance on
Sunday, December 9th. The staff of JSO would like to send their love and appreciation
to the entire cast and crew of Frankenstein. We wish you all the best luck in
the future and we were happy to have been able to experience such a remarkable
theatrical experience.
The good news is that the cast will be going into the recording studio this Thursday
(December 13th 2007) to record the 2007 Original Off-Broadway Frankenstein

DECEMBER 27TH
Jim has been cast in a reading for a new British-based musical, Afterwards.
The invitation-only reading will take place on
January 11th 2008 at two separate times, 11am and 4pm, and will be held at Playwrights
Horizon Rehearsal Studio.
